Here are a few details about our shows and what we have to offer. We have four shows available to book for 2011, aimed at differing age groups. They are as follows:
Ollie (5th to 9th Years):
A lively adaptation of the "Oliver Twist" story. Ollie is alone, cold, poor and hungry. She wanders the streets looking for help, until she finds Peewee, a young girl just like her. But Peewee is not all that she seems..she is a thief working for the wicked Fagin. Poor Ollie has to go and work for him. But in the end, with the help of Peewee, she defeats him.
Robin Hood:
A brand-new production for 2011. The gallant Robin Hood strides through the forests of Merry England, looking to do deeds bold and brave (and for the chance to look good) He steals from the rich to give to the poor. Unfortunately, he's not quite as good with a sword as he would like. The evil Sheriff stands for the forces of law..out to bring Robin to justice. Both of them want the beautiful Maid Marian. But who will get her in the end?
For older students
Blind Date:
Three teenagers in a school. Simon is the new boy..big glasses, bad clothes. He is never going to be cool, but he really wants Sarah. Sarah is beautiful and stylish and she knows it..but she'd rather be dead than go out with Simon. Jane is quiet and plain, but secretly she wants Simon. Two is company, three is a crowd. Who will Simon get?
Not Romeo and Juliet:
Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" is a masterpiece, a love story to transcend the ages. A beautiful tale of young lovers, doomed forever by their families and circumstance. Not in this case. Mrs Brown, frustrated drama teacher, is desperately trying to get John and Claire to be serious actors. It just isn't happening. Whatever they try isn't good enough for her. She wants love, passion and emotion. In the end, she brings in the audience to take a turn..
